Mokadi has over 25 years’ experience as a senior business leader in the private and public sectors. He is passionate about business leadership, corporate governance, business coaching & mentorship, skills development& training and customer service. He is committed to lifelong learning and continuous improvements initiatives (Kaizen Concept). He is an advocate of human empowerment and enablement driven by the power of positive and possibility thinking.

Prior to embarking on full time organisational consulting, coaching and mentoring career, Mokadi had a successful career as an executive and non-executive director of private and public entities. Mokadi has been coaching and mentoring for over 20 years now (directly and indirectly). As such, he has first-hand experience of the increasingly complex challenges of governance, human resources development and leadership in our global, volatility, uncertain, complexity, ambiguity (VUKA) and knowledge driven economy. Results driven and solution focused, he is used to working under pressure, to tight deadlines, with multiple commitments and competing demands, including leading and managing a diverse workforce and cross-cultural teams. Mokadi combines real world business, intellectual, spiritual and social acumen with best knowledge from research in emotional intelligence, governance and leadership in executing his business coaching obligations and responsibilities. Mokadi is the founder and Chief Executive of Mathye and Ditlou Dynasty Corporate Consultants (MmDdCc). It was founded in 2007 to harness his entrepreneurship and behavioural skills to support Southern African organisations in both the private and public sectors.

Accreditations, Qualifications & Professional Bodies

Mokadi’s first degree was a Bachelor of Technology in Business Administration from Wits Technikon (now University of Johannesburg). He is also an alumnus of the School of Business Leadership (SBL), University of South Africa (UNISA) where he holds a Master’s degree in Business Leadership (with Corporate Governance as elective). In addition, he graduated from the University of Pretoria, where he gained a Master of Philosophy and Master of Arts degrees.

In addition, he has received a Diploma in Production Management and an Advanced Diploma for Production Managers from the Production Management Institute in South Africa (PMI). Previously he trained in Communication and Inter-Personal Skills, Achievement Motivation and Personal Development to sharpen his business acumen and emotional intelligence awareness. He has also completed programmes in Financial and Accounting Principles for Public Entities from UNISA and Finance and Accounting (CPFA) from Wits Business School (WBS). Mokadi is an alumna of the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS- University of Pretoria) where he completed a Professional Business Coaching Programme- an International Coach Federation (ICF) Approved Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH Pathway). He also completed a UK based LeaderShape Global Development Programme in Emotional Intelligence, Transpersonal Leadership Approaches and Coaching & Mentoring Skills for Leaders. He is an accredited Leadership and Emotional Intelligence Performance Accelerator (LEIPA) Facilitator. Mokadi has attained a Further Education & Training Certificate: Youth Development (ETDP SETA SOR Number: 529937).

Mokadi has been a member of the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa (IODSA) since 2003 and a Fellow member of IODSA since 2010. Mokadi has been a Global Executive Panel Member of the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) since 2005. He is a current member of Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA) and also serves in a voluntary capacity as its National Company Secretary. Mokadi is a former member of USA-based Society of Emotional Intelligence (SoEI), a former Affiliate Member of the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC™).

Mokadi is also a Global Member of International Coach Federation (ICF) and currently is undergoing an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) accreditation which is scheduled to be completed by end February 2019.Mokadi is a Certified Practitioner of the Marshall Goldsmith Global Leadership Assessment (GLA360) based in USA. Mokadi was accredited by PDA International as a PDA Analyst for Behavioural Assessments and also as MyPDACoach Analyst. Mokadi is an accredited Assessor and Facilitator (ETDP SETA- SOR Number: 529937).

Coaching Models & Methodologies

Mokadi is trained in both the V-GROWTH and the GROW Coaching Models and integrates them in his coaching sessions. His coaching approach entails a hybrid that focuses on developing identified learning gaps and encouraging responsibility of the coachee from a personal and professional perspective by utilising the Emotional Intelligence, Rational Intelligence, Spiritual Intelligence(Ref: Page 138:Leading Beyond the Ego-2018).
